Specifications

Unitree G1 Edu Professional A-U9 is the 37-degree-of-freedom configuration of the Unitree G1 humanoid robot, equipped with BrainCo Revo 2 Basic five-finger dexterous hands, an NVIDIA Jetson Orin computing module, and full secondary development support.

Unitree G1 Edu Professional A-U9 Key Specifications

Total degrees of freedom: 37 (6 per leg, 5 per arm, 3 in the waist, 6 per hand). Hand type: BrainCo Revo 2 Basic five-finger dexterous hands. Peak knee joint torque: 120 N·m. Maximum arm payload: about 3 kg. Weight with battery: about 35 kg. Standing dimensions: 1320 x 450 x 200 mm; folded dimensions: 690 x 450 x 300 mm. Battery: 9000 mAh, quick-release, about 2 hours of runtime. Charger: 54V / 5A. Warranty: 18 months. FOB price: US$35,900. The dual-encoder joints and full joint hollow electrical routing support reliable, repeatable motion during extended test sessions.

Computing and Sensing

The Unitree G1 Edu Professional A-U9 pairs an 8-core CPU with an NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX module (16 GB, 100 TOPS) for AI computing and full secondary development support. Sensing hardware includes a Livox Mid-360 3D LiDAR and an Intel RealSense D435i depth camera. A 4-microphone array and a 5 W speaker support voice interaction, and Wi-Fi 6 plus Bluetooth 5.2 provide wireless connectivity. Dual encoders on every joint and local air cooling keep the platform stable during continuous operation.

On the Unitree G1 Edu Professional A-U9, joint movement ranges are: waist Z ±155°, X ±45°, Y ±30°; knee 0–165°; hip pitch ±154°, roll −30° to +170°, yaw ±158°. The arm span is about 0.45 m and the calf-plus-thigh length is about 0.6 m. The chassis also includes full joint hollow electrical routing and a protective bracket for safe handling during setup and testing. A manual remote controller and an intelligent OTA upgrade system are also included with the Unitree G1 Edu Professional A-U9.

Compatible Accessories and Related Unitree G1 Models

The Unitree G1 Edu Professional A-U9 uses the same G1 Battery (9000 mAh, quick-release) and G1 Charger (54V/5A) as other G1 models. For a configuration without dexterous hands, see the Unitree G1 Edu Standard-U1; for the Revo 2 Touch hand variant, see the Unitree G1 Edu Professional B-U10. Full manufacturer specifications are available on the official Unitree G1 page. Because the G1 Edu Professional A-U9 shares its Jetson Orin computing module and secondary development framework with the Unitree G1 Edu Standard-U1, existing development code and control software are largely portable between the two models.
