Computing and Sensing

The Unitree G1 EDU Flagship C-U5 pairs an 8-core CPU with an NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX module (16 GB, 100 TOPS) for AI computing and full secondary development support. Sensing hardware includes a 3D LiDAR and an Intel RealSense D435i depth camera. A 4-microphone array and a 5 W speaker support voice interaction, and Wi-Fi 6 plus Bluetooth 5.2 provide wireless connectivity. Dual encoders on every joint and local air cooling keep the platform stable during continuous operation.

On the Unitree G1 EDU Flagship C-U5, joint movement ranges are: waist Z ±155°, X ±45°, Y ±30°; knee 0–165°; hip pitch ±154°, roll −30° to +170°, yaw ±158°; wrist pitch ±92.5°, yaw ±92.5°. The arm span is about 0.45 m and the calf-plus-thigh length is about 0.6 m.

Compatible Accessories and Related Unitree G1 Models

The Unitree G1 EDU Flagship C-U5 uses the same G1 Battery (9000 mAh, quick-release) and G1 Charger (54V/5A) as other G1 models. For a configuration with tactile Dex3-1 hands, see the Unitree G1 Edu Flagship B-U4; for a configuration without dexterous hands, see the Unitree G1 Edu Standard-U1.
