Why Choose the Unitree H2-D Flagship Edition?

The Unitree H2-D Flagship Edition is a wheeled, mobile dual-arm humanoid built for industrial manipulation, autonomous warehousing, and commercial service work. It adds a mobile chassis — up to 1.5 m/s of travel speed, servo-driven differential wheels, in-place 360° rotation, and a LiDAR-and-camera navigation sensor suite — on top of the same 20-DOF dual-arm platform used across the H2 series, letting the robot move to the work instead of the work coming to it.

H2-D Flagship Edition shares its arms, lift column, and computing platform with the fixed-chassis H2-D General Edition and the fixed-base H2-A General Edition, adding one extra degree of freedom in the mobile base for a full 20 DOF.

Key Features

  • Mobile Wheeled Chassis: Up to 1.5 m/s travel speed with servo-driven differential wheels, in-place 360° rotation, and a ~0.75 m turning diameter.
  • Autonomous Navigation Sensing: Chassis LiDAR, a depth camera, two physical collision sensors, and two ultrasonic sensors support autonomous navigation and obstacle avoidance.
  • 20-DOF Agile Motion: 7 DOF per arm, a lift column, and a 2-DOF mobile base, with 0–115° waist pitch and 0.5 m of lift travel at up to 200 mm/s.
  • Battery Swap & Auto-Recharge: A 48V/30Ah (1.44 kWh) quick-release chassis battery rated for ~5 hours of runtime, with support for battery swapping and autonomous return-to-charge.
  • Multi-Type End Effectors: Quick-change support for 2-finger grippers, 3-finger dexterous hands, or 5-finger dexterous hands.

Mobile Manipulation, Not Just a Fixed Arm

H2-D Flagship Edition’s wheeled base drives at up to 1.5 m/s with a tight ~0.75 m turning diameter and full 360° in-place rotation, so the robot can reposition itself between stations rather than staying fixed in one spot. Onboard LiDAR, a depth camera, two physical collision sensors, and two ultrasonic sensors work together for autonomous navigation and obstacle avoidance, while wrist-mounted HD cameras — in place of the fixed platforms’ neck camera — give close-in visual feedback right at the point of manipulation.

Power & Endurance

A 48V/30Ah (1.44 kWh) quick-release chassis battery gives H2-D Flagship Edition roughly 5 hours of runtime per charge. For continuous operation, the battery can be hot-swapped, or the robot can autonomously navigate back to a charging point and recharge itself — minimizing downtime in multi-shift warehousing or production environments.

End-Effector Options

H2-D Flagship Edition accepts the same quick-change end effectors as the rest of the H2 series: the Dex1-1 2-finger parallel gripper for fast pick-and-place, the Dex3-1 3-finger force-controlled hand, or a 5-finger dexterous hand such as the Dex5-1 for close-to-human dexterity. Contact our sales team to confirm the correct end-effector configuration for your application.

Applications & Use Cases

  • Autonomous Warehousing: Mobile pick, sort, and kitting operations that require the robot to travel between shelving, packing, and staging areas.
  • High-Speed Industrial Sorting: Manipulation tasks that benefit from repositioning the robot across a wider factory floor rather than fixing it to one station.
  • Commercial Services: Reception, guided tours, and retail assistance roles that combine mobility with dual-arm interaction.
  • Embodied AI & Sim-to-Real Research: Real-world data collection across mobile manipulation tasks, model fine-tuning, and sim-to-real transfer research.

Who Should Consider This Robot

H2-D Flagship Edition suits integrators and research teams who need a dual-arm humanoid that can autonomously navigate a facility, not just manipulate from a fixed point — autonomous warehousing, multi-station sorting, and commercial service deployments are all strong fits. If your application is confined to a single fixed station, the lower-cost H2-D General Edition or H2-A General Edition may be a better fit. Contact our team to confirm end-effector selection and integration requirements before ordering.
