Why Choose the Unitree H2-D General Edition?
The Unitree H2-D General Edition is a fixed-chassis dual-arm humanoid that adds a vertical lift column to Unitree’s dual-arm manipulation platform. With 19 degrees of freedom, a 0.5 m lift travel at up to 200 mm/s, and ±90° in-place chassis rotation, H2-D General Edition can reach from low bins to overhead shelving without a mobile base — a precision workstation with a much larger effective working envelope than a purely fixed arm.
H2-D General Edition shares its 19-DOF arm and sensing platform with the H2-A General Edition, but adds the lift column and rotating chassis. For applications that also need the robot to move between stations, the H2-D Flagship Edition adds a mobile wheeled base on top of the same core platform.

Key Features
- Vertical Lift Column: 0.5 m of lift travel at up to 200 mm/s, plus 0–115° waist pitch, lets H2-D General Edition work floor-level bins and overhead shelving from one fixed position.
- ±90° Chassis Rotation: The fixed chassis supports in-place rotation about its vertical axis, extending reach around a workstation without needing to relocate the base.
- 19-DOF Dual-Arm Motion: 7 DOF per arm at up to 120 N·m of arm-joint torque, with a peak single-arm payload of ~15 kg (rated ~7 kg).
- Fully In-House Technology Stack: Self-developed actuators, force-controlled joints, and motion-control algorithms with full SDK/API access for secondary development.
- Multi-Type End Effectors: Quick-change support for 2-finger grippers, 3-finger dexterous hands, or 5-finger dexterous hands.

A Larger Working Envelope, Still Fixed in Place
H2-D General Edition’s lift column raises the whole upper body 0.5 m at up to 200 mm/s, and its 0–115° waist pitch adds further reach toward low bins or close work. Combined with ±90° in-place chassis rotation, the robot can address a much wider workstation footprint than a static torso mount — while remaining a fixed, DC-powered installation with no navigation or mobility hardware to manage.

Sensing, Computing & Connectivity
- Vision: A wide field-of-view humanoid binocular camera plus a dedicated HD neck camera for stereo depth perception and close-up manipulation detail.
- Voice Interaction: An array microphone paired with a high-power speaker for natural spoken commands and feedback.
- Base Computing: Dual-PC architecture separating platform functions (Intel Core i5) from user application development (Intel Core i7), with support for an optional high-compute module (multiple brands/models, including NVIDIA Jetson Thor).
- Connectivity: Built-in WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2, plus an included handheld controller for manual operation.
End-Effector Options
H2-D General Edition accepts the same quick-change end effectors as the rest of the H2 series: the Dex1-1 2-finger parallel gripper for fast pick-and-place, the Dex3-1 3-finger force-controlled hand, or a 5-finger dexterous hand such as the Dex5-1 for close-to-human dexterity. Applications & Use Cases
- Multi-Level Workstations: Assembly and kitting lines where parts and tools are stored at more than one height, from floor-level totes to overhead shelving.
- Autonomous Warehousing Support: A fixed manipulation point at a packing or sorting station, feeding or receiving from mobile transport robots.
- Embodied AI Research: A richer, higher-reach manipulation platform for teams researching whole-body coordination between arms, waist, and lift column.
Who Should Consider This Robot
H2-D General Edition suits integrators who need a fixed dual-arm manipulation station with a larger vertical and rotational working envelope than a simple torso mount, but don’t require the robot to travel between locations. If your workflow needs the platform to move autonomously around a facility, consider the H2-D Flagship Edition instead.
